Today around 5 o'clock, I called my friend and she didn’t pick up. After two minutes, she called back, said “good night,” and cut the call. I was confused.
After an hour, she called again. I told her, “You already said good night and kept the call.” She said, “I didn’t even know what I said,I just called you back.” I started teasing here don’t randomly call people and say good night when you’re half asleep.
Then we started talking properly.
While talking, I began cleaning my bookshelf. We spoke about Vincenzo, the series I suggested. She had watched it and was telling me about the scenes she liked and how good it felt. We kept discussing those moments from the series.
Slowly, the conversation moved to our school days, then college, and then the dreams we had seen two days back. We teased each other a lot. I suggested another series for her to watch and gave her a short outline while still cleaning.
Once the bookshelf was done, I moved on to cleaning my cupboard. The call continued. We randomly started talking about MA portions, then shifted again. Childhood habits came up, and of course, food also became part of the conversation.
I’ve saved her contact name as Shinchan, and she’s saved mine as Himawari. People say we are like sisters. I don’t completely agree she irritates me a lot but that’s just how we are.
Nothing big happened today.
It was just a long call, some cleaning, some laughter, and a very normal evening that felt nice.
So I wrote it down and kept it as a loveable blog.
